GEO & AI search visibility · WordPress plugins & micro-SaaS
When someone asks ChatGPT for the best plugin in your category, three names come back. I work on getting yours to be one of them.
Eight years scaling WordPress plugin and SaaS revenue — two products to $23,000 and $19,000 a month. Now I do one thing: find out why the AI engines recommend your competitor, and fix it.
Why does this matter now, and not in two years?
Because the question has already moved. A founder comparing booking plugins used to open ten tabs; a lot of them now type one sentence into ChatGPT and read three recommendations. That buyer is not browsing — they are choosing. If your plugin is not in the answer, you were never in the consideration set.
The volume is still smaller than Google. The intent is terminal.
What do you actually do?
I run the prompts your buyers use across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, record which plugins get named and which URLs the engines pulled from, and then work on the gap. Usually the gap is five or six pages — and they are almost never the pages people expect.
The full method, including what I think does not work, is on this site before you pay for any of it.
GEO Audit Sprint
Thirty checks, four engines, two weeks. You get the prompt run with screenshots, your share of voice against three competitors you name, the citation-source map, and a 90-day roadmap. The fee comes off your first month if you carry on.
Citation & Content Retainer
One comparison page, one alternative page, one original-data asset and one off-site placement each month, with prompt tracking and a monthly report. Three-month minimum. Six clients at a time, because I do the work myself.
What have you actually done?
Two products, both WordPress, both real numbers I can walk you through:
| Product | What changed | MRR before | MRR after |
|---|---|---|---|
| CTX Feed | Product-led content, comparison pages, marketplace positioning | $4,000 | $23,000 |
| Saasland | Organic growth programme — traffic up 200%+ over the same window | $300 | $19,000 |
That is the whole list. I would rather show you two numbers I own than a wall of logos I had nothing to do with.
What do you think most GEO advice gets wrong?
Most of it does not survive contact with the evidence. Ahrefs checked 137,000 sites and found 97% of published llms.txt files had never been read by anything. The only controlled test of schema markup found no measurable citation effect. Backlinks correlate with AI visibility at 0.19; brand mentions at 0.66.
Two things do hold up: original data with cited sources, and being retrievable at all — server-rendered, crawlable, updated. That is what I sell, and I will show you the studies on the call.
Two new clients this quarter. If that changes I will say so here rather than leave it up.
Want to see where your plugin stands?
Send me your wordpress.org slug and I will run the five prompts your buyers use, and send back what the engines actually said. Free, no call required, usually within a day.
