Alauddin Chowdhury, GEO consultant for WordPress plugins and micro-SaaS

I am a digital marketer in Dhaka who has spent eight years on the revenue side of WordPress products. For the last stretch of it I have been working on one narrow question: why do the AI engines recommend some plugins and not others, and what can a founder actually do about it.

What did you do before this?

I ran growth for commercial WordPress products. Two of them are the reason anyone should listen to me on this: CTX Feed went from $4,000 to $23,000 a month, and Saasland from $300 to $19,000, with organic traffic up over 200% across the same window.

Both were won the ordinary way — product-led content, comparison pages that answered the real question, and being present where the buying decision happened. The channel has changed; the shape of the work has not.

Why WordPress plugins specifically?

Because I know the ecosystem, and because it is a category where this is measurable. There are a finite number of plugins in any category, the buyer compares before they install, and you can watch the answer change. Trying to do this for “B2B software” in general is a much vaguer promise.

It also means I can be useful in the first ten minutes of a call rather than the third one.

What do you believe that most people in this field do not?

That most GEO advice is not supported by the evidence, and that saying so out loud is a better business than repeating it. The llms.txt files almost nothing reads. The schema markup that showed no measurable effect in the only controlled test. The advice to mass-produce comparison pages, when comparison pages are 2.2% of all AI citations.

I publish the studies, including the ones that undercut things I would rather be true. It is the whole reason the audit checks are public.

What are you not?

Not an agency. Not a team. Not someone who will guarantee you a position in an AI answer, because that is not a thing anyone can control. And not a general SEO — if you need technical SEO or link building at scale, I am the wrong person and I will tell you who is not.
